Overview
For this webinar, staff from the Governor’s office joined members for a conversation to gather feedback on the state’s postsecondary talent development system transition plan. In alignment with HB 26-1317, the Governor’s office is seeking feedback to inform the Transition Advisory Committee (TAC) as they formulate recommendations on the structure of a new department overseeing higher education and workforce development. As the bill sponsors put it: “Creating a Unified System of Postsecondary Talent Development.”
The meeting recording, slide deck, TAC website, and online feedback survey are linked below.
Commissioners and county staff are encouraged to fill out the survey form, if interested, to ensure your county’s priorities, governance insights, and operational strengths are reflected in the final transition plan. Feedback from the session will be anonymous, synthesized, and shared to help inform the Transition Advisory Committee’s recommendations.
